 Hi and greeting to you all today after lunch I got a score on typing speed test and my score is 45 and before I got a higher score but today I tried to make is you to my score but that was alright I felt happy I hope you try it to and get a higher score then me if you got are higher score Go You.

but i am very happy that i went up

Room 5 wonderful time at taekwondo

At a wonderful Monday at Saint Pius X after morning tea at 10:50 am at taewondo Room 5 had a coach called Miss Yu also we had a lovely experiments. I learnt lots of trick what we learnt was kicking the pad, jump and kick, turn and kick, elbow hits, back kick, front kick, jump and kick the pad. we've done it eight or nine times.   

My favourite game was jumping over the rope it was very fun but when it went higher and higher I got out and sit down with thy others.

A Wonderful Trip To Ambury Farm

One my wonderful day on Ambury farm I saw Two pigs called pumpkin and sesame and Chickens, hen, rosters, Goats, Sheep, baby lamp peacock, Cows but we only meet one cow called Rosie, she was a cow that only can carry 7/2 milk. My favourite time at the Ambury farm is milking the baby lamb and doing the butter race.

How was I introduced to music?  Well I’m certain my mother must’ve sung to me while I was in her womb.  Can I add if you hear her sing - boy! you need to have earplugs - because she won’t even get auditioned by NZ idol or X-Factor.

I enjoy singing - in fact I sing better in the shower, and judge mum will say “get out of the shower - there will be no more hot water for the rest of us” - To this day, now that I’m ten she still sings that same chorus “get out of the shower!”.  I’m seriously thinking of writing a song about her abuse of me when I’m in the shower.  

Singing in the The Christchurch MUSE Music Trust Community Choir was very satisfying, you don’t have to be a professional singer to be in the choir.  The MUSE motto is “Bringing music to the heart of the Community”.  It was a wonderful experience of learning songs of different cultures and being surrounded mostly with palangi’s who appreciate and respect foreign cultures.

I wake up to a tune and I would hum or sing it.  I’m learning piano and ukulele.  My Rarotongan whanau are musical but only display their musical talents at certain events.   My Tongan whanau here in Auckland are very musical but the opposite - they openly and regularly share their musical skills all the time.  

At home I hear southern gospel, rhythm & blues, soul, motown, ballads and rock but hardly any island music.   

When my mum sings, I smile because she’s off-tune but she’s very funny at imitating other singers.  For example, when I used to fly up to Auckland from Christchurch or Wellington on my own, Mum would call and sing Stevie Wonder “I just called to say I love you, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart”

My mother usually would sing me a lullaby to rock-me-to-sleep “Moe moe ra e taku pepe”  the Rarotonga  version of “Rock-a-bye-baby.   I always sing “Moe moe e taku pepe” to my kitten to rock him to sleep.

We all have different taste in music and I’m blessed to be surrounded by people that enjoys a wide variety of music which have added to my love of music.

If my Mum is in church and I have to do the reading she supports me and I will be brave.

My Mum makes me laugh and she thinks that I am funny when I do some of the laughing samoan jokes. My Mum's favorite colour is brown, black, gray and red but her most favorite colour is brown.

My Mum is like a dragon when she is angry when children, like my cousins, don’t clean up their mess and she has to do the cleaning all by herself. When I see her clean up the big mess I tell her to stop and I go and tell my cousins to clean up their own mess before they go outside.

One day a teacher called Ms Kape she said to room five “ tomorrow bring some interesting”. The next day two children in room five brought something interesting. One girl called Mallory brought along a baby hedgehog and she told the teacher that she found it in her shed and she feed it.

A boy called Dipak from room five brought a jar with some possum poo.

After school a boy called Slade was trying to find something interesting when he saw a spider. He carried it to his mum, and he showed it to her. His mum said “I’ve got something to put your spider in”.

Slade went and followed his mum.  She got the ladder and found a box and said to “I will poke some holes in the lid so the spider can breathe”.
